so, ah... I guess I should start out by saying hello... Is that what I'm supposed to do? Ugh, I don't know. I was told I should record my thoughts and whatnot in this... thing. What did they call it again? Oh, right, a journal... Diary... Eh, I don't even care what it's called. We'll just go with journal. It's the easiest to work with, even thought diary is shorter... Now I'm just confusing myself. Anyway, I'm supposed to start writing in this in order to keep myself from forgetting again. At least, that's what I was told. Hopefully this works. I just wanted to say hi.
Oh, well, I guess I should introduce myself. If I forget again, then this should help me at least remember my name. My name is Mint. Mint... White. I think that was it, but who knows? It was just the first thing that came to my mind--more like the first color I saw in Professor Maple's place. Oh, yeah, Maple is the guy I've been living with for the past year or two. He's taken care of me since... I don't even know. Since I was found unconscious? I think that was the story? Arceus knows.... Uh, yeah. I'm heading out on a journey now. Perhaps I'll figure out who I am, where I came from, etc. I might even have a family! Hopefully they remember me... anyway, I have Colby, the Totodile Maple gave me, at my side, so I shouldn't get lost or anything on this trip. Hopefully. Aha, I'll get lost very soon, I just know it. Wish me luck!
