Your Account
When you register, you can use any username you would like, but when you finish your application be sure to change it to your character's name.
One character per account!
You may find several blanks in your profile. The first, called Player, is where you will put the URL of your main account, the one you are most likely to be on.
The second is Hover Image, where you place the URL of a picture of your character, or something that they are associated with, that is 200x300. It must be 200x300.
The third, application, where you place the URL that leads to your application once you have been accepted.
The fourth, plotter, you place the URL to your plotter in that blank. The same goes for number five and six, the URL to your Pokemon Party thread and the URL to your wanted ads, if you have any.
Finally, the played by section is where you fill in your alias that you go by in the chatbox.

Characters
You are allowed to play a pokemon if you so wish to, but this forum should focus on the trainers and their journeys.
You are not allowed to have more than two gym leaders, and no more than 1 elite four member.
No canons from the show will be allowed, unless they are much older and you get permission from me, for this takes place many years after Ash's adventures, to the point that Ash has a son who is in his teens to mid-twenties.
It would be good if your character were to specialize in the pokemon type, but it is not required.
No perfect characters. Everyone has flaws, etc.
You are not required to have a picture of your character, but if you do it must be anime, or drawn, as long as it isn't a photo of a real person.
You can have as many characters as you want as long as they all stay active.
Under no circumstances can a character carry more than 6 pokemon.
Each trainer can have up to one Mega Stone to Mega Evolve one of their pokemon, but not everyone can Mega Evolve or have a Mega Ring.
Roleplaying
No godmodding or power playing. Basically, don't say something hits, or always dodge every single attack or gets hit all the time but never faints. Everyone likes to win, but there has to be losers sometimes. Do not enter a battle without being willing to lose the battle. If a battle seems unfair to you, PM a staff and they will review the battle and perhaps take action by either talking to the one at fault, or ending the battle all together.
You can have more than one thread going at a time, but be sure to keep track of what order they go in.
There is a word limit of 25 words, just as a precaution to avoid one liners. A good paragraph would be good, and more than that is great! If someone posts a long post for you, try your best to match it, though if you can't, its alright!

That's what these sites are all about right? Just relax and enjoy having a fun RP session. Although, if you won't be around for awhile, please tell us so we know, but its not a big deal. Unless you have a canon, your character will not be deleted, though if your character has a legendary, it may escape you if you are gone for too long without telling us!
