There are 26 cities, as shown by the blue and yellow dots in the map above. If you are unsure of what each number represents, do not hesitate to ask me about it. I will do my best to help explain which dot the number corresponds to.
.) The Elite Four - After going through Victory Road built into Kujii Peak, a trainer reaches their final challenge. Each room is designed as their trainer's specialty pokemon.
.) Umbra Town - A town where trainers who are about to face Victory Road, which goes through the highest mountain in the Pokemon World, Mount Belua, can rest and challenge each other. There is a large hotel in the center of town where a trainer and their pokemon may rest, or perhaps participate in a battle on the first floor where an arena is built.
.) Tso City - Pronounced like Soh City, this is where a trainer can battle the final gym leader and earn the 8th and final badge, the dusk badge. This city tends to make hairs stand on ends, and many seem to see ghosts in this town. It is said a long time ago this was a battlefield where many people and pokemon alike died and their spirits still roam the town.
.) Nemus Village - A village deep in the Nemus Forest, this village is supported by the trees. Many a traveler may pass by this village and not even realize it is there. However, the people have a story about a legendary pokemon, and if someone were to stumble in, they may be able to hear more about it, perhaps even able to eventually meet it and catch it.
.) Flumen Town - The town by the river. This town houses the headquarters to Team Shadow, but whether one can find the headquarters remains to be seen. Hidden underneath the river, Team Shadow has an intricate set of tunnels that lead all over the Kochi region, allowing the Team to never have to be seen traveling, and sometimes pop up out of nowhere.
.) Resym Town - A small little town down the river and near the lake, Resym Town is a very peaceful place and will never offer any resistance to anyone, but Team Shadow has not taken advantage of this because Resym Town has a protector, a pokemon that is said to rise from the lake every night and hunt down anyone who has hurt or used or is unfair to a citizen of this town.
.) Sidus Town - Located in one of the oddest places in the Kochi region, Sidus Town is always night. Home to the 7th gym, if one beats this Dark Pokemon Trainer, they will receive the Noctus Badge. There are rumors that Sidus never sees a day without darkness because of a legendary pokemon that is rumored to sleep somewhere in the forests nearby.
.) The Pokemon Coliseum - This is where trainers from all around go to challenge each other. There are four ranks, Rookie, Intermediate, Advanced, and Master, where a trainer can climb the ranks and become the Pokemon Champion. Those who place in the top three of each rank receive a cash prize and (unless in the Master rank already) rise a rank.
.) Ligneus City - Home of the 6th gym, specializing in fire pokemon, and Kochi's desert, Ligneus City is one of the driest places in Kochi and home to many ground types and fire types that roam the desert. It is said this area is as dry as it is because a pokemon causes it to be so dry. Perhaps if someone pokes around enough they can see if this rumor is true and perhaps catch a legendary pokemon.
10) Requis Town - A peaceful little town, Requis Town has banned pokemon fighting anywhere in town and up to a mile in radius. There are signs at the beginning of the no battle zone and signs at the end. Requis is usually home to those who dislike pokemon battles, but many still like pokemon and welcome breeders and those who use pokemon as pets only with open arms while trainers are looked down on. There is a building on the edge of town which is the jail for those who were caught battling.
.) Sol City - Larger than many other places, Sol City is a prime location for trainers and merchants and breeders, all sorts of people. There is plenty of arenas for battling, a mall and many other facilities. It is also home to the 5th gym and electric gym leader, who, if beaten, will give one a Burst Badge.
.) Excelsus Town - This small town is high in the mountains. Its people tell stories of a legendary flying pokemon that shows up every ten years, when the people would go through a ceremony to its honor and pile up food for the bird. That fifty year mark is coming up quick.
.) Gnay Niy - A town split in half. There is a large towering metal wall separating this town. The wall was erected by the people of the town because the Dragon Riders and the other people could not get along, so the wall was created to stop the fighting. Now to get across the wall, one must sneak across and hope they are not caught or they may be either killed or imprisoned.
.) Ignis City - The largest city in the Kochi region, Ignis is the home to the Steel Type Gym, Number 4 on one's journey, which if defeated, one would obtain the Meteor Badge. Ignis contains shops of all sorts, with the gym on the far east side of the city, and monuments to several pokemon, but they are so old one cannot read why these pokemon are honored. The city is taking care of the stone statues now. These pokemon include Charizard, Arceus, Steelix, Absol, Empoleon, and a Serperior.
.) Vulcan - This town is located nearby the volcano, Mount Aix, which the people worry about going off at some point and being buried in ash, as there has been evidence of that happening at least once in the past. The villagers offer possessions every year to a legendary pokemon that lives in the volcano, hoping to appease the pokemon and spare the village.
.) Tradewind Town - This is the central hub of the Kochi region connecting to so many places, Tradewind Town is usually bustling with travelers, but most do not stay for very long, but those who do tend to lead richer lifestyles from the business from the travelers.
.) Liteus Town - With mountains on either side, forest and ocean on the other sides, Liteus Town is cut off from other places and has developed independently of everyone else. Here, battles are always between two pokemon at a time, and only four pokemon can be used, and must be used, two or three or one are not allowed. This is also the home of the third gym that specializes in rock pokemon.
.) Inber Town - High up in the mountains, to get to the oasis (the lake in the mountain) one must pass through here. The water of the oasis is said to heal any wound, and sometimes even resurrect something that died if laid in the water on the sunset of the day they died. Access to the oasis is restricted to only those that the elders decide may visit. It is theorized that Team Shadow wants the oasis for their own nefarious purposes. Once water is taken from the oasis its powers die.
.) Wayfield Point - This is where the mysterious lighthouse stands, warning ships of the land they are approaching. The thing is, no one has operated the lighthouse in years, and those who live in the town do not know why the lighthouse has stayed in operation despite not being cared for, turning off during the days and on during the nights. Many theorize a pokemon has taken refuge in there and shines brightly at night to warn ships.
.) Grahm Town - Home of the 2nd gym, the grass gym that awards the Lignum Badge, Grahm Town is a small happy little town with several who live there and run shops and pokemon centers. Grahm Town is home to a pokemon research center that works closely with the lab at 23.
.) North Springboard Town - Separated from South Springboard Town by a river, North Springboard Town is the larger part of the town. Currently the bridge that connects North to South is being repaired, preventing those in South to reach North without traveling outside of the town.
.) Springboard Forest - A forest just outside of North Springboard. This is where new trainers are known to train, and there are rumors of a legendary pokemon who roams the forest, but no one has seen it before.
.) South Springboard Town - South Springboard Town is where many pokemon journeys begin, the home of Professor Maple's laboratory, and the place where children above the age of 10 are picked to begin a pokemon journey. Many days kids and adults alike can be found relaxing on the beach and playing games on the beach.
.) Cale Town - Cale Town is the home of the 1st gym, the flying type gym which awards the Dawn Badge to those who beat the gym leader. This is a small town but is beginning to grow. On the beach just as South Springboard Town is, Cale Town is a major fishing town.
.) Yoosil Island - Yoosil Island can only be accessed if one flies or swims to the island. It is fairly deserted, but many pokemon run while here. There is a legend of a pokemon who takes care of all the pokemon on this island and strengthens the pokemon, so the pokemon here are much stronger than those one may meet in the wild elsewhere.
.) Cindex Isle - Even if one arrives, and has any one pokemon with them or even in a box in a PC, on this island, if they have not defeated the elite four, they are not allowed in. This is a place for only champions to be, or a descendant's child, but even then most children are sent on a pokemon journey to become champions and be able to return home. This city is where champions go to retire. Here, they can do anything they want and no worry about lacking in anything. Outside of town there are many pokemon to train, catch and fight, as well as a small underground dueling arena so trainers can battle against each other. Many who live here have gotten old, retired and just want to relax now.
